The art is the clock.
Each watering gives a plant 72 hours (from day 30 of the season, one hour less each day). It changes as the hours run out, on chain and on the pass in your Wallet. Nobody has to send a transaction for it to die: death is a time, not an event.

It grows with your days.
The plant on your pass grows with its counted waterings: a sprout at 1, a sapling at 3, a young tree at 7 and a bonsai in blossom at 15. A watering counts 12 hours after the last one that counted, so a bonsai takes a week of care.
rarity is a place, not a draw
Outlast the field.
A Spirit's rarity is the share of the field still alive at the start of the hour it died. Nothing is random and nothing is for sale. A plant still alive when the season's last watering closes is Mythic.
the coin and the pot
